Brooklyn Flea Market

Today is Saturday and there was some rain in the forecast, but we were still able to go to the Brooklyn Flea Market in Williamsburg. We met a friend who has also moved here from Minneapolis. The last time we met was when we were all in Kyoto! She bought a white satin robe and he bought a cropped bomber jacket. Youth! Lunch was fried chicken, collard greens, mac and cheese and a great biscuit at Pies and Thighs in Williamsburg.

Since rain is likely tomorrow as well, it might be the time to go to the Met. It now costs $25 for non-residents and I'm not old enough yet for the senior discount. One more thing I'm purchasing with my government money. I'm looking forward to the Alice Neel exhibition.
