I thought this was a joke faux-ad,
but then I heard it talked about on CW music radio--
Amazingly, the DJs were talking about whether it was unfair to imply that men who weren't manly weren't worthy of being a "woman's man"!
But in fact, Old Spice ads have always seemed rather gay, haven't they?
