The Cafe Barbette Bastille Day block party 2013

Cafe Barbette hosted their Bastille Day block party again, and it was a blast.  The weather was perfect, and Eureka Recycling was on hand to make it a zero-waste event. The event raises money for the organization People Serving People, a homeless shelter for families.

There was food and drink, lots of cute babies and people with elaborate tattoo sleeves, a guy who juggled fire and machetes,  burlesque Marie Antoinette, and several bands. Lucy Michelle played with her new band which includes Chan Polling and John Munson, and I stayed long enough for the set of the Suicide Commandos.
