Cablegate for Dummies

Sometimes we have to laugh so we don't cry. This is one of those times. Most of the horrible things that have been confirmed by the wikileaks cable publications have either been suspected or already reported by expert analysts: the torture, the perversions of justice, the abuse of power in pursuit of maintaining US/international capital's hegemony. But a salutory effect of the publication is the confirmation of these stories. Now it is up to the traditional press to stop being complicit in the cover-up, as they have been for decades, of stories they have suppressed or ignored.
