I'm trying not to join the screaming chorus of frustrated leftists who are Monday quarterbacking Obama's appointments. I even understand why we can't appoint, say, Dennis Kucinich to this position. But Robert (unindicted co-conspirator) Gates is still dirty dirty dirty.
I want to hope that Obama's agenda will be implemented, sooner or later. As Al Giordano at The Field reminds us, our new foreign policy team has some promises to keep regarding this hemisphere, too.
