The Dig is a movie about the excavations at Sutton Hoo, and a gentle period piece with Ralph Fiennes, Carey Mulligan, and Lily James. I listened to dozens of episodes of the History of English podcast, complete with recitations of Anglo-Saxon poetry, so it was fun to see the story about the dig that uncovered so much Anglo-Saxon material culture.
