I'm so glad to be with my family! Finally filed my grades, finished the draft of my MLA talk, and we managed to make it to the airport and only had a one hour flight delay. Yesterday was my nephew's 21st birthday. We had dinner together at SPQR, a great Italian place on Fillmore (we are big fans of their Brussel sprouts!) before his friends came to get him. The plan was to blindfold him and take him somewhere. I guess we'll find out where they took him when we go over to my sister's place for Christmas Eve dinner.
I am so grateful to fresca for stepping in at the last minute to help take care of Mr. Leo. Thank you!!! She is thinking about Tina Modotti lately, and that reminded me of this old post.

Ha, yes. He doesn't want to be held and will rarely sit on your lap, but he will cuddle next to you on the couch (especially if you have a laptop) and sometimes, rarely, even drape the front of his body on your lap. On the other hand, he follows me everywhere, including the bathroom.
