Brilliant "Anthropology of YouTube" explains a lot about how the whole "Web 2.0" thing works. Fun, fascinating, and instructive, it's worth the time it takes to watch (about 40 minutes).
Michael Wesch at Kansas State U. has created several wonderful videos with his students and collaborators, and his Digital Enthnography blog gives background and details about them.
