Another warm day, so the thing to do is to go to a matinee in a nice cool theater. I went back to the Metrograph to see Howl's Moving Castle. I had seen it before but I hardly remembered it. I'd forgotten how much it was about war and bombing. I also got a Metrograph membership because it involves access to streaming content as well as a discount for tickets: $10 instead of $17! Only $50 for the year (or $5 a month).
To inaugurate my streaming, I'm going to watch a William Klein film, a documentary about the French Open, since we just saw a big retrospective of his work at the ICP.
