The Poster House and No No No

 We made a late afternoon excursion to The Poster House to see two shows: Soviet film posters of the 1920s, and a show about the work of American poster maker Ethel Reed. On a previous excursion there we had both been really impressed with how well the space was used to present the work of Julius Klinger, and this time we were equally impressed with how dynamic the exhibitions were. I know my reciprocity membership should get me in for free, but I forgot to use it. It's near the Flatiron building and Eataly in midtown.

 

Then we walked about ten minutes to a fabulous izakaya-style Japanese restaurant called No No No where we had chawan mushi, yakitori, and really special mushroom dishes. It reminded me of Ippuku in Berkeley. Very good value for the money.
